Hypnotherapy
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a heightened state of relaxation and focused attention guided by a trained, certified Hypnotherapist.
In the relaxed state, hypnosis allows you to be more open to your own suggestions for making healthful changes. Hypnosis is achieved by the therapist using verbal repetition and mental images while you are in a calm and relaxed state. Therapy sessions can be conducted online or in person. Hypnotherapy is not sleep it is focused, deep relaxation that allows your unconscious mind to accept suggestions to make beneficial changes and/or achieve a goal. During a Hypnotherapy session, you will be fully aware of what is going on around you and have control. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis as you make the decisions of what you would like to change. As the therapist, I just help you achieve your goal through your suggestions.
The first session will involve getting to know what you would like to achieve with the therapy and an initial session. In the next session, we will work on the goal depending on the issue. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative effort with me until your desired achievement. Depending on the goal there could be further sessions.
You can book a session through my website or email me for a call back to discuss if Hypnotherapy is right for you.
